Big Cat Rescue, one of the best animal sanctuaries in the U.S., has given these cats with heartbreaking stories comfortable, loved, and happy new lives in massive enclosures entwined with Florida’s nature. Two cats were confiscated from drug dealers’ apartments, many were commercial “petting” cubs that outgrew their “usefulness” as they grew up, and several were “pets” kept in horrifying conditions. This gorgeous tiger, Bengali, was forced to perform in a circus. If you want to see beautiful, big cats, please don’t go to a circus, or a zoo, or buy a hybrid cat (or buy any cat from a breeder, for that matter), and please do your homework on for-profit “conservation” facilities – come here instead! It was amazing!
